Calcio Padova opened the Padova Football Cup 2026 with great enthusiasm and support from the students. The school tournament saw the participation of 17 high schools in the province of Padova. The team has overcome the other formations with great enthusiasm and support from the students. The inaugural match was won by Duca degli Abruzzi with an 8-0 without history. Protagonist Stimamiglio, author of four goals and named MVP of the match. In the second match of the group, Nievo beat Severi 4-0, led by the double of captain Filippo Candeo, technical leader and point of reference for the team. More balanced were the first two matches of the Bisson Auto group, composed of five teams. The match between Belzoni and Curiel ended 0-0, with the goalkeepers being the big protagonists: Remedi for Curiel and Beorchia for Belzoni shared the MVP award thanks to decisive interventions that kept their respective goal lines intact. The same result also in the last match of the day, between Scalcerle and Alberti, ended 0-0. Also distinguished was another goalkeeper, Rossi of Scalcerle, awarded as MVP for a decisive performance. Fundamental to the success of the initiative was the collaboration between organizers, Comune di Albignasego and sponsors, who contributed to building a manifestation destined to become a reference appointment for Padova student football.
