Calcio Padova, new owner Alessandro Banzato is ready to take the reins of the club. In a press conference, Banzato talked about his ambition for Serie A and his relationship with the club. 'I'm very happy that this operation has been completed', Banzato said. The new owner also talked about his relationship with sports director Mirabelli and with president Francesco Peghin. Banzato started going to the Euganeo stadium when he was 9 years old and remembers well the years when Padova played in Serie C2. The new owner has also linked his name to the recent successes of Petrarca Rugby, but has assured that he will continue to be part of the 'Amici di Memo' group. And so, Calcio Padova begins a new era with Banzato at the helm. The new owner has already established a good feeling with the environment and has said he is available to work to bring the club to Serie A. But for now, the focus is on the current season and the goals that the club has set. So, Calcio Padova is ready to challenge the teams of Serie C and fight for promotion.
